Service 02 · Web Design
A website that earns its keep.
Most campground sites are stuck in 2008, slow, hard to navigate, broken on phones, with the booking link buried three clicks deep. We build the modern alternative: fast, beautiful, mobile-first, engineered to convert lookers into bookers.
The Status Quo
What we usually find on day one.
The site loads in 7 seconds on a phone with a weak signal. The hero photo is a stock image of a different park. The booking link goes to a third-party site that opens in a new tab and looks nothing like your brand. The contact form sends to an email address nobody checks.
The owner pays a local web guy $150/month to "host the site" but he hasn't returned a call in two years.
Sound familiar? You're not alone. The good news: the fix isn't complicated.
The Build
What every site includes.
Custom design
Not a template. Not a Squarespace skin. We design around your brand, your photos, your story. Approved by you before we write a line of code.
Mobile-first
Over 70% of campground site visits come from a phone, usually mid-trip. Every page is built for that screen first.
Fast page loads
Optimized images, modern code, hosted on infrastructure that doesn't blink at traffic spikes. Target: under 2 seconds on a phone.
Booking, integrated
Our booking widget embedded directly in the page, same design language, no third-party redirect. Path from "I want to stay here" to "I've paid" is 4 clicks.
SEO foundation
Proper meta tags, schema markup, sitemap, image alt text, content structure Google can read. Search Console set up on day one.
Photo gallery + reviews
A real gallery of YOUR park. Reviews pulled in from Google. The trust signals that make people click "book now" without second-guessing.
Standard pages
Home, Sites & Rates, Amenities, Things to Do, Photos, Contact, Policies. More if you need them.
Hosted by us
SSL certificate, hosting, regular backups, security: $49/mo. The site lives on our platform, that's how the booking flow stays plugged into your /app data.
The Process
How a site comes together.
-
1
Week 1
Discovery call
A 30-minute call to understand your park, who stays, what makes you different, what photos and content you have, what you'd like the site to feel like.
-
2
Week 2
Design mockups
We send you 2-3 visual directions for the homepage. You pick one, give feedback, we refine until it feels right.
-
3
Weeks 3-4
Build
We build the site. Wire up the booking widget. Set up the domain and SSL. Stand up a staging URL for you to click through.
-

Week 5
Polish & launch
Last round of edits. Your sign-off. We point your domain to the new site and submit to Google. You're live.

Investment
Two ways to pay.
one-time design fee · then $49/mo hosting
For operators who want the design done up front. Pay once for the build, then a flat $49/mo to keep it running on our platform.
on top of software subscription · 24-month commitment
For operators who'd rather spread the cost. Design fee waived; software + website + $49/mo hosting bundled into one monthly bill.
Larger or more complex sites quoted individually. Multi-park websites starting at $5,000.
A custom site built on our platform.
The site lives on Campground Management, that's what makes the booking widget, the live availability map, the rates engine, and the rest of your operator console all plug straight into the public site without integrations to maintain. You're paying for the design and the platform that runs it together.
- Edit copy, photos, blog posts in /app
- Site updates as we ship platform features
- Hosting, SSL, backups, security all included in $49/mo
- Booking flow stays in sync with your sites and rates
- You get a static HTML export of the design as a "skin"
- Visual layout and content come with you
- Booking, reservations, calendar, payments, those live in our software, so they stay here
- You'll need to wire the static site up to whatever you switch to
Same way Squarespace and Webflow work, a custom CMS that powers the site. Different from a WordPress build you can pick up and move; we tell you up front so you can pick the model that fits.
