Campground Social Media Marketing

A real social presence, without you ever opening Canva again.

You did not buy a campground to spend Tuesday night editing Reels. We run Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok for you the way an in-house team would: monthly photography, on-brand templates, weekly publishing cadence, real comment replies, and a single dashboard so you can see what is actually moving the needle.

The case

Why most campground social accounts feel dead

It is rarely the algorithm. It is almost always one of three things. First, a sunset photo posted three times a week with a caption that reads "Beautiful evening at the park! 🌅" That is not content; that is wallpaper. Second, a feed full of stock photos that obviously are not your park, which kills trust the moment a guest spot-checks against Google reviews. Third, replies that take 5 days, which trains the algorithm to suppress your reach because engagement velocity is the single biggest ranking input on every platform.

A working campground social presence does three jobs simultaneously: it sells the place to people researching their next trip, it builds a community among past guests so they come back, and it signals enough engagement velocity that the platforms keep showing your content for free. Done right, the third job, earned reach, is worth more than every paid social ad combined.

DIY vs in-house vs us

The honest comparison most agencies will not show you.

Dimension DIY (your manager + Canva) Campground Management
Posts per month Inconsistent. Drops to zero during peak season. A consistent monthly cadence across the platforms that make sense for your park, scheduled ahead.
Original photography Phone snaps, mostly daytime sunny weather. Either you supply photography or we send a photographer from our network: golden hour, weather variety, every site type, real guests.
Reels / short-form When there is time, which is rarely. A steady cadence with hooks tested in the first 1.5 seconds.
Community management Comments answered when remembered. 24-hour response SLA, escalation path for service issues.
Reporting Vibes-based ("seems to be working"). Monthly: reach, follower growth, top posts, what bookings tied back, what we are testing.
Cost ~10 hours/wk of staff time = $1,800/mo true cost. $1,200/mo flat, and you get back 40 hours/mo.

What's included

What we ship every month.

Monthly content calendar

Built around your seasonal calendar: booking window, holiday weekends, local events, slow weeks. Approval link, edit-in-browser, on-brand.

Short-form Reels / TikToks

Hook in the first 1.5 seconds, captions for sound-off viewing, on-screen text for retention. We script the videos for you. You can record the footage on your phone with a little guidance, or we can dispatch a local photographer / videographer from our network if you would rather not be the camera operator.

📷

Photography that fits the program

Two paths: (1) you provide your own photography (your phone, a staff photographer, your existing asset library) and we build everything around it; or (2) we hire a local photographer from our network to come out and shoot a fresh asset library for you. Both work. We will recommend whichever fits your situation.

Community management

24-hour response SLA on comments and DMs. Escalation path for booking questions, service complaints, refund asks. We loop you in when it matters.

Hashtag + caption research

Per-post hashtag sets refreshed monthly against current platform performance. Captions written for engagement velocity, not word count.

Monthly performance review

Reach, follower growth, top-performing post breakdown, what bookings tied to which post, plus a 30-minute working call to plan the next month.

If/then

Where to start if you can only do one thing.

If
You have under 1,000 followers and post sporadically.
Then
Start with the Foundation track, quarterly photography + 30 posts/mo on Instagram and Facebook only. Skip TikTok until you have a content library.
If
You have a healthy following but engagement is dropping.
Then
Add the Reels track, 4 short-form videos/mo with hook-tested formats. Reels reach is the single biggest free-distribution lever in 2026.
If
You compete in a saturated destination market and need top-of-mind awareness.
Then
Pair social with Meta paid retargeting, your organic content becomes the creative pool for paid retargeting.
If
You only want one platform.
Then
Pick Instagram. Higher buying-intent than TikTok, longer content lifespan than Facebook, and the audience overlaps the RV demographic better than either.

How the engagement runs

From kickoff to compounding results.

01

Brand + voice intake

We capture your tone, hero photography, brand colors, and 3–5 audiences. Output: a 1-page social brand bible.

Week 1
02

Photography day

Photographer on-property for half a day. We shoot every site type, your amenities, real activity, drone if applicable.

Week 2
03

First content batch

Your first month of approved content scheduled and live. You see exactly what is going out, when, and on which platform.

Weeks 3–4
04

Steady operating mode

Monthly calendar, weekly publishing, 24-hour reply cadence, monthly performance review. The unglamorous part where compounding actually happens.

Common questions

What operators ask before saying yes.

Do I need to post or be on camera? +
No. Most of our parks never appear on camera. We script Reels you can hand to a front-desk team member or a staff member with a steady hand. The voice, the brand, the captions, those are ours to maintain. The 30 seconds of footage we ask you to record is genuinely all the on-camera time required.
Will the content actually look like our park? +
Yes, that is the whole reason photography day exists. Stock photos read fake the moment a guest spot-checks against Google reviews. Our quarterly shoot produces 100+ assets per visit, all from your property, with the lighting and weather variety we need to publish for 90 days.
How fast will I see followers grow? +
Followers compound. The first 60 days are slow because we are establishing the content cadence and giving the algorithm new signals to react to. Months 3 onward is where the curve typically starts bending, but every park is different and we will not promise a number we cannot guarantee.
Can you handle paid social too? +
Yes, that is the Paid Ads service. We run organic + paid as one program because separating them creates duplicated audiences and worse ROAS. Bundle discount when you pair both.
What if a guest leaves a nasty comment? +
We have a 24-hour SLA, and we treat angry comments as a service-recovery opportunity. We never delete unless it is spam or harassment. We respond on-brand, take the conversation to DM, loop you in, and document the exchange. Done right, this is a trust-building moment.
How much input do I have on the calendar? +
As much as you want. Default flow: we draft 30 days, you approve, we publish. Most operators check in for 20 minutes once a month. A few approve every post; both extremes are fine.
